New Addition to Rakin’ Bacon Slot Series Live in New Jersey

American Gaming Systems (AGS), Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, and Hard Rock Bet online casino celebrated the debut of a new Rakin’ Bacon slot game on Friday.

Titled “Rakin’ Bacon Sahara,” the new slot made its New Jersey debut during an invite-only event at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City. The event marked Hard Rock’s first-ever simultaneous launch of a slot game on the casino floor and online in New Jersey.

Hard Rock Bet is planning to hold various promotions for online players related to the Rakin’ Bacon Sahara launch, while Hard Rock Hotel & Casino will host weekly happy hours and events with pig-themed drink specials.

Rakin’ Bacon Sahara is a brand extension of the original player-favorite game Rakin’ Bacon that features Cornsquealius, a loveable cartoon pig in the game. New adventures await in-game with expanding reels, an exciting pick bonus, and four jackpots that will make any player squeal like a pig.

With Rakin’ Bacon Sahara, and other versions of the game, PlayAGS is embracing the idea of omnichannel jackpots, meaning the game’s jackpot on the casino floor is connected to players online. The omnichannel setup enables players in New Jersey to spin for large-scale wins on games with a combined jackpot between the land-based slot machines and online versions of the games.

After monitoring the performance of the first Rakin’ Bacon game since its release in 2018, AGS launched Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey in February 2024 with Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Atlantic City, Tropicana Atlantic City, and Harrah’s Atlantic City.

Now the new Rakin’ Bacon Sahara is available at Hard Rock’s Atlantic City casino and online. Hard Rock Bet online also has the original Rakin’ Bacon game as well as Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey.

“Hard Rock Atlantic City welcomes AGS’ Rakin’ Bacon Sahara to our exciting casino where all the latest and most popular games are offered among our 2,425 slot machines,” stated George Goldhoff, president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City.

In June, London-based International Game Technology (IGT) announced it had started rolling out the highly anticipated Whitney Houston Slots game. Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City was on IGT’s list to receive the first Whitney Houston slot machines.

Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey

The Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey game features Cornsquealius, of course, adorned in a Caesar-esque laurel and white robe. The slot has a unique reel configuration of 3×5 that expands up to 6×5 during free spins with a staggering 7,776 ways to win. The game has a minimum bet of $0.88 and a maximum of $8.80.

Rakin’ Bacon

The original Rakin’ Bacon game greets the player with a top hat-wearing golden pig (complete with bow tie) who gets fatter every time you win. The pig eventually explodes when you hit the Free Spins Bonus. Once in the Free Spins Bonus, the player gets to choose between 5, 10, or 15 free spins. The game has the same minimum bet of $0.88 and a maximum of $8.80.

Online slot players can find the original Rakin’ Bacon game on BetMGM Casino, Golden Nugget Online Casino, DraftKings Casino, BetRivers Casino, and Hard Rock Bet.

A Slingo Rakin’ Bacon version is also available at BetMGM, Golden Nugget, DraftKings, PokerStars, and BetRivers.
