As of early 2024, the speculation around Jake Paul’s next boxing opponent is rife with several names being tossed around. “The Problem Child” has announced his return to ring on March 2nd in Puerto Rico, and two of the most prominent candidates are Nate Diaz and Tommy Fury. Additionally, the name Serdar Avci also known “The Turk” has been thrown around. Here are the odds for Jake Paul’s next opponent:

Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury Odds (+300)

Tommy Fury, half-brother of heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, has been a significant name in the mix. The pair have already faced each other, with Fury coming out on top. Given the competitive nature of their previous bout and the rivalry that has developed, a rematch between Jake Paul and Tommy Fury seems highly probable. The odds for the rematch are currently at +300. This rematch is not just about settling scores but also about capitalizing on the commercial success that their previous fight generated.

Jake Paul vs KSI Odds (+300)

KSI, a fellow YouTuber-turned-boxer, presents another fascinating potential opponent for Jake Paul. The rivalry between KSI and the Paul brothers isn’t new; it began with KSI’s boxing match against Logan Paul, Jake’s older brother. However, the bout is unlikely to happen on the March 2nd Puerto Rico card, as Jake Paul has stated that he’s sent a contract for 10 million to fight Nate in MMA in the PFL Organization. Since the March 2nd event is not an MMA, but boxing event, a match with Diaz seems unlikely at this point.

Some sources claim that Serdar Avci, the 39 year old Turkish Boxer could be Paul’s opponent on the March 2nd card. However, at this point, there is no further information about any contract between the two parties and the likelihood of Avci as an opponent is only based on the profile of Paul’s latest opponents.

Mike Perry (+650)

The potential matchup between Jake Paul and Mike Perry presents an intriguing fight in the world of celebrity and professional boxing. Mike Perry, a professional mixed martial artist, is known for his tenure in the UFC and his succesful move to bare knuckle boxing, where he’s knocked out two world champions in 2023. However, there have been no talks between the two parties yet.

Dillon Danis (+700)

Dillon Danis, a mixed martial artist and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and known trash talker fought Jake’s brother Logan in late 2023. With plenty of blad blood between the parties, Danis is another possible opponent for Paul. However, both Logan and Jake have expressed the opinion that they don’t want to deal with Dillon in any way shape or form in the future. Nevertheless, in the world of celebrity boxing, stranger things have happened as well.

Jake Paul vs Jorge Masvidal (+1200)

Another potential UFC fighter to consider is Jorge Masvidal. On New Year’s Eve “Gamebred” announced that he’s now “unretired”, sparking some speculation that he could be Paul’s next opponent for March 2nd. However, it’s as likely that Masvidal’s planning an UFC return or move to bare knuckle fighting in Perry’s footsteps.

Floyd Mayweather, Canelo Alvarez, Conor Mcgregor, Francis Ngannou

Among Jake Paul’s many call-outs is also Floyd Mayweather. The legendary 50-0 boxed is much more likely to fight Jake’s brother Logan in a rematch though. Furthermore, the 12 time world champion is scheduled to fight another legend in Manny Pacquiao in February, so a fight with Paul in March is highly unlikely. Since Mayweather seems out of the picture, the name of Canelo Alvarez has also been thrown into the ring. However, given that Canelo is in his prime and focusing on boxing, it’s extremely unlikely that he would fight Paul.

Among other notable callouts are also UFC fighters Conor Mcgregor and even Francis Ngannou. However, Ngannou is far bigger than Paul and is scheduled to take on Anthony Joshua later this spring. As far as McGregor goes, he’s announced his UFC return for summer of 2024 and is highly unlikely to step into the boxing ring before that.

Jake Paul Next Opponent Prediction

Regardless of the odds, it’s clear that Jake Paul’s next opponent is still uncertain. Because of this, our official prediction is that “the Problem Child” is not going to fight any of the listed fighters above. Paul has decreed that he will now focus on boxing instead of entertainment, which would indicate that it’s likely that his next opponent will be a boxer, but one that he can beat. Out of the fighters on this list, only Avci fits the picture, but since nothing official has been announced between the two camps, it’s much more likely that the Youtube-boxer will fight a veteran American who is at the tail end of their career.
