First ceremonial spin for the new Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey slot machine
Caesars Entertainment, Inc. and PlayAGS, Inc. celebrated the exclusive launch of their new slot game Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey this week. The new game is a brand extension of the popular Rakin’ Bacon game that’s become a fan-favorite on casino floors across North America.
With Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey, Caesars, and PlayAGS are embracing the idea of omnichannel jackpots, meaning the game’s jackpot on the casino floor is connected to players online.
International Game Technology introduced the first omnichannel wide area progressive jackpot in March 2023 via a Wheel of Fortune slot game in New Jersey. The new omnichannel setup enables players in New Jersey to spin for large-scale wins on games with a combined jackpot between the land-based and online versions of Wheel of Fortune.
To commemorate the launch of Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey this week, well-known online gaming influencer Francine Maric – better known as Lady Luck HQ – was on hand at Caesars Atlantic City alongside Caesars representatives for the ceremonial first spin. The new slot is exclusively live in New Jersey at Caesars Palace Online Casino, Caesars Atlantic City, Tropicana Atlantic City, and Harrah’s Atlantic City.
Senior Vice President and Chief iGaming Officer at Caesars Digital, Matthew Sunderland, said the company has been monitoring the performance of the first Rakin’ Bacon game since its release in 2018.
“We’ve seen how popular this game is in other jurisdictions, and we’re confident our casino players and guests in New Jersey will enjoy it,” Sunderland said in a company press release.
Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey
The new Rakin’ Bacon Odyssey game features “Cornsquealius,” a loveable pig cartoon adorned in a Caesar-esque laurel and white robe. The slot has a unique reel configuration of 3×5 that expands up to 6×5 during free spins with a staggering 7,776 ways to win. The game has a minimum bet of $0.88 and a maximum of $8.80.

The original Rakin’ Bacon game greets the player with a top hat-wearing golden pig (complete with bow tie) who gets fatter every time you win.
